After graduating from college with a baccalauréat in science and ecology, I trained at the Centre of Vocational Training and Agricultural Promotion in Obernai, Alsace, France. After that, I studied at the horticultural and landscape college in Tarbes, Pyrenees, France. However, I didn’t follow those studies with a career in plants in mind. Being far more interested in eating plants rather than growing them, I decided to train as a chef and so worked around western Europe and England for years in gourmet kitchens.
Three years ago, while living in Cornwall, I decided to go back to plants and worked with the landscaping and gardening company “Mint Gardens“. After moving to the Cotswolds last summer, I created my own gardening and landscape business called “Julian’s Organic Gardens”.
